The Solution

Illuminous Marketing partnered with Corey Clearer-Stoner, who created the beautiful branding. From there, Illuminous took the lead on developing a clean, navigable website. This site not only showcased the exquisite design work but also organized all the event details, highlighted key volunteers, and gave clear instructions on how to host or attend events. We also empowered event hosts with co-created marketing materials to help them promote their individual gatherings.

Finally, in line with the values and mission of SD Climate Week, we implemented a multi-lingual site experience, made sure that the site was mobile-optimized, and added accessibility features to make sure that everyone was able to navigate the website with ease.

The outcome was fantastic. The inaugural San Diego Climate Week saw over 5,500 participants, more than 120 different events, and a large number of volunteers all connected through that central platform. In the end, the website played a key role in making the event a real community success.
